Free delivery to your door if you live in Cape Town, and if you live out of Cape Town, then you get free delivery on your order if it is over R1000.  We charge a flat rate of R150 if your order is under R1000 and you live outside of Cape Town.

If there is any conflict between this Delivery Policy and the Online Terms and Conditions, the Online Terms and Conditions will prevail and will apply in respect of all products sold through the Toolhome’s website.

Online Ordering and Email Confirmation

Products purchased through the Toolhome’s website will be delivered to a physical address of your choice, which must be selected during the online ordering process.  As soon as your order is dispatched, we will send you a confirmation email with tracking details.

Courier Delivery

Deliveries will be performed by a courier company engaged by Toolhome’s

The delivery service is available from 8am until till mid-afternoon during weekdays only, and no deliveries will be made on weekends or public holidays. We recommend that you use your office address as your physical delivery address if you are not at home during the week.  You may be required to sign for delivery and to provide a valid form of identification when your order is delivered.

If you are not available to take delivery of your order, we will attempt either one or two more deliveries to the physical address that you provided during the online ordering process and, if still unsuccessful, either Toolhome’s or the courier company, acting on Toolhome’s behalf,  will call you to arrange, in its sole and absolute discretion, for either a further delivery attempt to be made or for you to collect your order from the courier company. 

In the event that Toolhome’s and/or its duly appointed courier company is unable to contact you, despite all reasonable attempts to do so, using the contact details and/or physical delivery address that you provided during the ordering process, we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund to you the money already paid to Toolhome’s .

Delivery Times

Our delivery times will vary between 3-7 working days depending on, among other things, product availability.  While Toolhome is firmly committed to delivering your order within the estimated delivery times, we are unable to guarantee that all orders will be delivered within the stipulated time frame, particularly in the event that certain products contained in your order are temporarily (or permanently) unavailable.

Costs

All orders over R1000 are delivered free of charge.  Toolhome, in its sole discretion, may determine that your delivery address is located in a remote area and may, upon you placing your online order, request payment of an additional delivery fee. Should you object to an additional delivery fee being payable, you will still have the choice to withdraw your order. All orders under R1000 in value outside of Cape Town will incur a delivery fee of R150 including VAT.  We do not deliver to farms or informal settlements.

Our liability

Toolhome is not liable for any incorrect order or delivery where you make an error in the information that you provide to Toolhome e.g. if you provide the incorrect delivery address or submit an incorrect order.  If you do not provide a valid physical address for delivery, Toolhome may cancel your order and refund the purchase price.  It may also not be possible for us to deliver to some locations.  If this is the case, we will inform you using the contact details that you provide to us when you make your order, and will arrange for cancellation of the order or delivery to a different delivery address.

We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your ordered products are delivered within 3-7 business days. While Toolhome will try to ensure a smooth delivery process, in the event that we are unable to meet the estimated delivery time frames, you accept and agree that Toolhome will not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of the late delivery of your order.   You further acknowledge that the delivery of your order may be impacted by events beyond the control of Toolhome , such as adverse weather conditions, industrial action, or an inability to secure labour, power, internet services, GSM network connectivity, materials or supplies.

Toolhome delivers the products in standard packaging. You understand and accept that the packaging of the products offered on Toolhome website (e.g. bottles, containers, packets, etc.) may be different from the packaging of the product that is delivered to you.
