Santoku knives or to give them their full name Santoku bocho knives, which translates as ‘three uses’, are ideal for mincing, dicing and slicing, as they feature a straight edge with a narrow sheep’s foot blade. These knives have evolved from the traditional Japanese vegetable knife which has a rectangular blade.
This MasterChef Santoku is made from German steel with an ABS handle. The ergonomic design ensures a good balance which allows for better cutting and slicing. The blade ...is made with 18/10 Stainless Steel, allowing it to keep its sharpness for longer and can be sharpened at home. The knife is not suitable for the dishwasher – handwash only.
